My Creative Space

There's something very different about my creative space this week. Something strange. Something unusual.

Can you guess what it is?

Yes, that's right ..... it's neutral.

There's nary a colour in sight. Starting on top we have a lovely pumice coloured linen, of the best quality. Then a charcoal Italian wool underneath, followed by a navy blue Italian wool in the same fabric, just a different shade. All sitting on a grey and silver textured upholstery piece.

Neutral. What gives??!

I'm the first to admit that I don't quite know how this happened. There I was, at the Laura Ashley outlet, hungrily pawing my way through thousands of metres of discontinued fabric at THREE DOLLARS A METRE - yes ladies, you heard right - and I came out with neutrals?

No colours? Not one? I must be sick.

(Actually, I am sick, today my throat feels as though it's being lovingly stroked by a chainsaw.)

It's the only thing I can think of that may have thrown me off balance. And it gets worse, too - guess what I'm wearing today. Neutrals. Grey linen pants and a black linen top. I don't even have a coloured necklace on.

It must be time to crawl back under the covers - clearly, something is seriously wrong.

haha today I am wearing a black dress, black tights and grey shoes. I tried on the red shoes, my normal favourites, but something about the grey appealed to me today. Might be something in the air?

I'm sure that the neutrals will inspire something wonderful.

It's nice to have a happy mix of colour & non don't you think.

Neutrals aren't all bad. You need something neutral for colour to pop all the better :)

Funny. I looked at the photo and thought - lovely. Such nice colours :) I like grey and blue. I'm not opposed to colour but I do like neutrals.

Living in the country, I live tenuously on the success and victories of you city folk. I know I shouldn't be jealous, and celebrate in your success, but i am a little green around the gills. xxNick

Hope you are feeling a bit better. Neutrals are OK --- just pop on a brooch, scarf, belt or coloured shoes. Or... all 4

I felt a little the same when I found myself purchasing plain white bed linen... hope you feel better soon.

it's important to keep a strict eye on your stocked pet food. Since yopoodle puppies for sale u will be with your pet almost all the time, you might be tempted to feed him extra just to keep him happy.
