My Creative Space

Look at my creative space. Just look at it!

Oh, I know it's cute (very, very cute in fact) but it is also bloody frustrating at times! See what he's cuddled up on? That would be my corduroy. My black corduroy. That I was trying to make a new Catticus with. Which he came up and sat on. And then stretched out on. And then went to sleep on.

Gah. Save me from furry babies spreading their lovely fur all over my lovely corduroy.

I couldn't move him though, could I ...

So it's just as well I'm a snot factory today and can't contemplate trying to do anything that involves sharp implements or needles of any kind.

Your space made me laugh! I know the feeling - and on black corduroy! Could it be any worse? He is beautiful though and I completely understand why you left him = )

That is the most familiar image I know. Except my cat has long white Birman fur :)

Egad Neen, Birman fur would be so hard to get off!

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments, they made me laugh a lot. Grimth sends his love. He's off the corduroy now, and sitting on my sewing chair instead .... sigh ....

Why do cats always pick the most inappropriate places to sit? Mine has been sitting on my good winter coat that needs to go to the dry cleaners now...grrrrr
The other place I usually find him is asleep in my nephews portacot (on the clean linen of course)

What a great shot. I wouldn't have moved him. If fact I would have been inclined to give him a little pat under the chin, just the way they like it.

Want to see my black yog-y pants after taking the Siamese to the vet today??? Yep, some is up my nose too I think. I think they sense black for the heat.

Aww, isn't he sweet? My furry babies prefer sleeping on my sewing/computer chair, using my yarn as pillows and I once caught one of them sleeping with his head in the arc of my sewing machine, right next to the needle. They're very creative!

Is that the real Catticus? The one that inspired my true love Catticus?? It's an honour to see him :-)

And that, my friend, is exactly what my creative space looks like- complete with THREE cats and a little dog. There is not an item I make that is free from hidden cat fur :-)
